Tattva 5. Suddhavidya Tattva - Pure Knowledge. On this level of manifestation the energy of knowledge prevails.

Tattva 4. Isvara Tattva - Concealing Grace. Here the energy of concealment is at work, somehow working to arouse cosmic activity by action prevailing over knowledge.

Tattva 3. Sadasiva Tattva - Power of Revealing Grace. Knowledge and action are in perfect equilibrium in this realm, also known as anandamaya kosa, or sheath of bliss.

Tattva 2. Shakti Tattva - Energy: the unlimited creative power of Supreme Consciousness corresponds to bindu, meaning light. More precisely, Shakti is the primal nucleus or Parabindu, but that is a more abstract translation for a core from which all things come. This tattva is that of Paramesvara, the Primal Soul, father-mother God, Siva/Shakti who does all. Paramesvara is also known as the original, uncreated soul, the creator of all other souls. Even though this doesn't sound like Shakti alone, that is the point. Shakti is the movement of Shiva. Shakti is nothing without Shiva. There are actions performed by Shiva/Shakti as Paramesvara, known by many other names and epithets. The five divine actions, known as the five fold act are: Sadasiva, the revealer; Mahesvara, the obscurer; Brahma, the creator; Vishnu, the perserver; and Rudra the destroyer.

Tattva 1. Shiva Tattva - "auspiciousness". Shiva is pure, unlimited consciousness itself. It comes in two parts, a higher and a lower. The first is Parashakti "Supreme Energy" from which emerges primal sound and soundless sound, nada and Paranada. Sound is only one definition for nada. In a more mystical sense of the word, it is the first movement or impulse of the perfect quiescence or motionless Self. The second part of this auspicious tattva energy of Shiva is Parashakti or superconsciousness.
